They possess a strong set of values, and their team work, culture and ethics are at the root of their success.Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Grinder (Early/Late Shift rotation) The successful candidate will have proven experience in the use of various grinding machines and will support engineering related production activities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Programming, setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinding machines
• Tool repair and maintenance
• Manufacturing tooling for use in compression and injection moulding to high tolerances
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
ESSENTIAL
• Time serviced apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline
• Experience in working with mould tools and how they fit together
• Experience in working on cylindrical and surface grinding machines
• Can read and interpret engineering drawings
• Working to high tolerances
DESIRABLE
• HNC / HND or similar in mechanical / general engineering
DETAILS OF PACKAGE37 Hour week: Earlies: 06.05-14.35 (Mon-Thurs) 06.05-11.05 (Fri) / Lates: 14.25-22.55 (Mon-Thurs) 10.55-15.55 (Fri) 29 days holiday + Bank holidays / Health Care / Counselling Support / Competitive Pension / Onsite parking / Life Assurance
