- COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:Our client is a long established and growing UK Engineering/Manufacturing business with an international profile. They consistently make strong and sustained investment in people, capital and plant and are an acknowledged leader in their field.Due to continued growth our client is seeking to appoint an Inventor CAD/CAM programmer to join the Engineering Design Team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be working in a programming team supporting Production Managers and Supervisors. It is essential that you have at least 12 months full time experience of working with Radan, preferably nesting and tooling for laser cutting and punching machines. You will be responsible for the programming of CNC lasers/punches to a schedule which is created using Advanced Planning Software. You must have the ability to read engineering drawings in both 3rd and 1st angles as well as the capability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.• Ability to use Radan nesting and projects• Tooling symbols and nests (laser and punches) as appropriate• Achieve maximum usage of machine and materials
Details of Packages:Up to £30,000 PA (Depending on Experience) + BenefitsHours: Mon-Thurs 8.00am – 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 12.30pm – Some flexibility is required.
