- COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:This is an exciting opportunity for a career focussed Marketing professional to work with an established sector leader, and rapidly growing company (Located between Stockton and Darlington). They provide technology driven cutting edge services and solutions to the manufacturing and engineering sector.Working alongside the senior management team and other HODs, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a targeted, integrated Marketing strategy, in line with overall company and Group objectives. You will also be responsible for controlling the annual marketing budget and monitoring Return on Investment (ROI) from marketing campaigns, reporting results through daily, weekly and monthly documentation and meetings.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:Primary Objectives:• Create and Implement Group Marketing Strategy.• Support Business Growth and Profit objectives.• Identify and target new revenue streams.• Raise customer service levels and brand value.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:• Execute targeted Marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and increase sales in line with company strategy.• Development of customer presentations, brochures and flyers.• Management of company’s event and Exhibition presence, including stand booking, design, promotional materials, samples, transport and logistics.• Implementation of direct e-Mailing strategy, including Monthly newsletter, external mailings and selected lead generation emails to profiled prospects.• Development of Press releases, Case Studies and Technical Articles to secure regular media presence.• Booking and designing selected advertising, in order to gain media coverage in targeted industry publications.• Direct postal mail campaigns where required, either internally or working closely with an external mail house.• Manage website updates to increase traffic and improve SEO rankings.• Management of annual directory listings / memberships.• Regular Social media activity, including posts on Twitter and LinkedIn to ensure consistent branding.• Ongoing Market research to analyse trends, identify growth markets, other opportunities, as well as gather competitor intelligence.• Control Marketing budget• Customer Profiling• Working closely with internal and external sales teams• Identify ROI from Marketing activity.• This is an office based role, visiting suppliers and attending exhibitions on occasion as required
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:• Ideally Hold a marketing related degree or related professional qualification and hold relevant experience, OR (Possess a strong demonstrable/proven track record within a similar role).• Articulate, confident, highly motivated and well organised• Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills• Commitment to high quality and attention to detail• Enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and efficient.• Extensive/Demonstrable experience implementing strategic Marketing techniques.• Commercial awareness• Excellent IT skills• Knowledge of CRM systems.• Demonstrable experience of contributing to business performance.
